Happy Valentine’s Day!

The students have been writing friendly letters to each other in preparation for Valentine’s Day. Needless to say, they are very excited about sharing them with each other. We will be sharing our letters, cards and snacks today.

I want to thank everyone for the all the materials brought in for the science projects. We will be building upon the scientific method in our upcoming exploration of arthropods.

I would like to ask for classroom donations of dry erase markers. This is the one item that we continuously use and run out of. I would also like to ask for snack donations. By 10:00 most of the students are ready for a snack. Some of them, I think, are Hobbits and need that first, second and third snack!

Valentine’s DayBy Mr. Randy’s 2nd Grade Class
We have written Valentine letters to everyone in class. We wrote to all of our friends. Some kids brought in cards and candy from home. Ms. Jojo made special treats and goodie bags for everyone. She is Mathews Nana. Mr. Randy got two pug mugs! He really liked them. They remind him of his pug. We hope we can do more Valentine stuff after lunch. Our lunch has been really short the past two days. The days have been going by so fast. We are excited about tonight. Some of us are going out for pizza. Alba’s dad is going to make pizza at home. She says it’s better than restaurant pizza! Mr. Randy said he’s going to ride his bike to dinner and to a movie. He eats a lot of pizza! Valentine’s Day at school was wonderful!
