The students have had the first week of Chess, OMA, PE and library. We will soon be adding the Greening group to our schedule. Needless to say, the students day is very busy. I would like to thank the parents who have come by to read with students and help with writing and math. Feel free to drop by when you have time. Thank you!

Parent Conferences: Please fill out the conference request form that went home last week and return by next Monday. I will try to accommodate you time preference. I will send home a confirmation early next week.

I want to thank you for all the classroom donations. The snack, dry erase markers and Dixon Ticonderoga pencil donations are greatly appreciated by me and the students.

Digital Storytelling: Students are utilizing the digital cameras to create stories about the school and gardens. I also encourage them to write about their lives outside of school and to bring in pictures or artifacts to use in class. We’re always looking for those writing opportunities that happen every day.

I am will be uploading your child’s stories and pictures to my blog and YouTube channel weekly. If you do not want your child’s name or work listed please notify me. This also applies to my webpage postings which include photos of the class.

Class Happenings by Adrienne: My classroom is so exciting! It rained this morning. We had to get inside quick! We couldn’t see out the windows. In the morning we got to make books for the Magic Box. I hope it isn’t Rainy Day schedule today. We would not get to do P.E. or lunch recess. I really like to go outside. I hope it does not rain tomorrow. My class is really fun!
